Capella Ubud
Capella Ubud ranks among the best resorts in the world and is a paradise unto itself. Consequently they needed a guide which reflected this tradition and helped guests to navigate their sprawling jungle estate.
Front Side
Capella Ubud sits in harmony with the surrounding nature. In constructing the resort, not a single tree was cut down to make way for buildings. This is reflected through the palm trees which bend and twist around the text in the guide. The feeling of immersion is also created by the many monkeys, butterflies and birds which are found throughout the guide, just as they are on site. The result is a guide which balances vintage design elements with a timeless style.
Back Side
The back side of the map focused on Ubud and its surrounding attractions. Capella Ubud is known for their curation so it was important to highlight their selection of local partners and shops they work with. The minimalist design is accented with traditional buildings and symbols found in the area which any guest will come to know well during their stay.
